What time can I check in at the hotel?
Your room is guaranteed to be ready from 3:00 PM.
 

What time do I need to check out?
Please check out of your room by 10:30 AM on your departure day.
 

Can I leave my luggage before check-in or after check-out?
You are welcome to leave your luggage at the reception.
 

Is there Wi-Fi in the hotel?
Yes, free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.
 

Can I bring my dog?
Yes, dogs are welcome. We have rooms with direct access to walking trails. CHF 20.– per dog, per night. Please inform us when booking.
 

Does the hotel offer laundry service?
Yes, laundry service is available for an additional charge.
 

Is there a wake-up service?
No, a wake-up service is not provided.
 

Can I request extra pillows or blankets?
Yes, extra pillows and blankets are available upon request.
 

What if I forget something (e.g., toothbrush)?
Small toiletries are available at the reception on request.
 

Is the reception open 24/7?
Our reception is open daily from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM. Outside these hours, you can reach us by phone at our main number: +41 26 412 74 74.

Arrival & Parking

Is parking available?
We offer parking for our hotel guests directly in front of the hotel (paid) or in our private garage (doorbell a few meters before the garage door / free).
 

Are there charging stations for electric cars?
Public charging stations are available in the immediate vicinity at the Gypsera parking lot.
 

How do I reach the hotel by public transport?
From Fribourg train station, take bus no. 123 towards Schwarzsee (approx. 50 minutes). The bus stops directly in front of the hotel at “Schwarzsee, Hostellerie”.

Do all rooms have a lake view?
No, some rooms face the mountains.
 

Are baby cots available?
Yes, available free of charge, depending on space.
 

Is there a safe in the room?
Yes, each guest has a safe in their room.
 

Are there accessible rooms?
Yes, we have one accessible room.
 

Is there air conditioning in the rooms?
No, air conditioning is not available.
 

Are power adapters / euro converters available?
Adapters are available at the reception. Please note that a fee applies if not returned.
 

Is there a fitness room?
No, we do not have a fitness room. The Schwarzsee area is ideal for walking, jogging, Nordic walking, and hiking.

What time is breakfast served?
Daily from 7:30 – 10:00 AM (Mon–Sat) and 7:30 – 11:00 AM on Sundays and public holidays.
 

Is breakfast included in the room rate?
Yes.
 

Can external guests dine at the restaurant?
Yes, by reservation and depending on availability.
 

Does the hotel offer half board?
Yes, a daily changing menu is offered.
 

What time is lunch served?
At the restaurant from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM.
 

What time is dinner served?
Dinner service starts at 6:00 PM. Please place your last order by 8:30 PM.

Can I use the wellness area as a day guest?
Yes. Pool: CHF 12.– adults / CHF 8.– children (6–12 yrs), Sauna & Spa: CHF 32.50
 

Are bathrobes and slippers available?
Yes, available at the reception.
 

Can children use the wellness area?
Children are welcome in the pool; the sauna is for ages 16+ only
