Alpine wrestling festival

Experience a unique mountain wrestling festival set against the breathtaking natural backdrop of Schwarzsee. The Schwarzseeschwinget is the only crown-awarding wrestling festival in southwestern Switzerland, combining top athletic performances with authentic Swiss tradition.
Enjoy atmospheric folklore, performances by the local yodeling club, and an unforgettable atmosphere as around 4,000 spectators cheer on the athletes.

Alpine cattle descent

Experience one of the region’s most beautiful alpine traditions as the decorated cattle return to the valley after their summer on the mountain pastures. This traditional Alpabzug delights with its colorfully adorned animals, genuine alpine culture, and a lively atmosphere that fills the entire village.
Up to 1,000 animals arrive in the village center throughout the day – an authentic experience for visitors of all ages.
